School Day with Momm 7/8

Hazel starts not like going to the school. One day she even mention she like to change to another school.
In order to encouage her going to the school, I promise to stay with her at the class room half day.
After that day, she seems to be fine. At least, she doesn't talk about changing the school. Otherwise, I really don't know where should i change to.

Bunny class also likes the four songs for the play and can already sing and dance to two of them. I hope that everyone had a nice and restful dragon boat festival on Wednesday!
Hazel has become a strong reader over the past few months. She learns very quickly and has no trouble with making the right sounds in phonics. Hazel gets along well with her classmates and all the other girls think that she is very pretty and wears nice clothes everyday!

I will be absent for the month of July and will be returning in early August. My friend, Teacher Wally, who the students have already met, will be taking over my classes. He is an experienced teacher and Bunny Class likes him a lot. They will be in good hands! I wish you a great summer and see you again in August!
Although Hazel was a new student this semester, she has really done an excellent job at catching up with the rest of her classmates. Hazel is a very sweet and well behaved students and it has been very nice to teach and get to know her over the past few months. I hope to see her keep up the good work!

I am from America and I have been living and working as a teacher in Taiwan for the last 6 years. Before coming here I taught young children in Chicago. I am very excited and happy to be teaching your children for the next month.

Dear Parents,
We had another good week in class! The students really enjoy the Phonics reader that we are doing this week: “The Pancake Man”. They find the story very interesting! The students have also been doing well with rehearsals for the graduation play. We had a lot of fun at Taipei City Hall on Wednesday where we got to watch a panoramic film about the city.
Hazel is more talkative in class now than she was before although she is still very soft spoken. I’ve been trying to get her to speak up a little because sometimes it’s hard to hear what she is saying. I think that rehearsals for the play can help her with this as she will be encouraged to speak clearly and loudly.

What we have covered:
Reader: Ben’s Red Car
MPM: D5 Functions
Rhyme: Rain
Phonics: The Pancake Man
Song: Jack and Jill
Dear Parents,
This week we began learning the songs for the graduation show. I think that the students really enjoy the music and will have fun singing and dancing during rehearsals. For cooking class we got to learn how to fold the bamboo leaves to make dragon boat dumplings. And on Wednesday the class got to eat cake and celebrate Bonnie’s sixth birthday!
Hazel has done a great job at remembering her lines for the graduation play. Although she is a new student, she has accomplished this task just as quickly as all of her classmates. The only thing that I would like Hazel to work on now is speaking in a louder voice as she is sometimes a little hard to hear. But other than that she is doing great!

Weekend No Classes

Starting going to the school at the week days, hazel doesn't like to go to any classes on the weekend.
She complains "no classes ; having fun home".
Actually I feel tired taking her to the classes at the weekend which is the classes packed with the kids.
More, the place she has the class is not convenient to go.

Hazel continues to do well in class. She is enthusiastic during lessons and pays attention to what the teachers say. I think that this is an enjoyable story and the students will have fun performing it. We will begin to memorize the lines and learn the actions very soon.
Hazel continues to work hard in class and her efforts are paying off. Her reading is getting better and better with every week. I’m happy with her progress and I hope to see her continue at this pace. Hazel is a nice student and she is always well behaved at school. I hope to see her keep up the good work.

Hazel will be playing the part of an Oompa Loompa for the show. I think that she will do a good job with her part and look very good in the costume! I will be taking two days off from work this week: Thursday and Friday. My friend, Teacher Wally, will be substituting for me on those days and I think that bunny class will like him a lot! Rehearsals for the graduation play are going well so far. The students are beginning to remember their lines. On Wednesday, we had fun making oatmeal cookies in class.
Hazel has very good pronunciation! We’ve been rehearsing for the graduation show and she has been doing a great job. Some of the words in her lines are not so easy but she’s been having no trouble repeating them after me. I hope to encourage her to speak up a little as her voice is very quiet.
