Weekend No Classes

Starting going to the school at the week days, hazel doesn't like to go to any classes on the weekend.
She complains "no classes ; having fun home".
Actually I feel tired taking her to the classes at the weekend which is the classes packed with the kids.
More, the place she has the class is not convenient to go.

Dear Parents,
I think that the Mother’s Day fair on Sunday was a success! The students seemed to enjoy the activities and games as well as the prizes. We also had another good week in class. The students had fun on their Wednesday fieldtrip to DaAn Park and have also been doing a good job at keeping up with their work in class.
Hazel continues to do well in class. She is enthusiastic during lessons and pays attention to what the teachers say. She has been keeping up with everything that I’ve been teaching and has no trouble with learning new material. Hazel is a good student with a nice personality and it is a pleasure to have her in class!

Dear Parents,
Bunny class had another good week at school. The students enjoyed making bacon, lettuce & Tomato (BLT) sandwiches on Wednesday for cooking class. I’ve finished writing the play that our class will perform for the graduation show. We will be doing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I think that this is an enjoyable story and the students will have fun performing it. We will begin to memorize the lines and learn the actions very soon.
Hazel continues to work hard in class and her efforts are paying off. Her reading is getting better and better with every week. I’m happy with her progress and I hope to see her continue at this pace. Hazel is a nice student and she is always well behaved at school. I hope to see her keep up the good work.

Dear Parents,
The students had fun at school this week. We went to the riverside park in Xindian on Wednesday, and although the weather was hot, the students enjoyed their time outdoors. We also began learning the lines for the graduation show and hopefully the students will be able to memorize them within the next couple of weeks.
Hazel will be playing the part of an Oompa Loompa for the show. I think that she will do a good job with her part and look very good in the costume! Hazel enjoys playing with the other girls in class. She especially likes Sandra and they are very good friends. Hazel has excellent behavior and she is well liked by all.

Dear Parents,
I will be taking two days off from work this week: Thursday and Friday. My friend, Teacher Wally, will be substituting for me on those days and I think that bunny class will like him a lot! Rehearsals for the graduation play are going well so far. The students are beginning to remember their lines. On Wednesday, we had fun making oatmeal cookies in class.
Hazel has very good pronunciation! We’ve been rehearsing for the graduation show and she has been doing a great job. Some of the words in her lines are not so easy but she’s been having no trouble repeating them after me. I hope to encourage her to speak up a little as her voice is very quiet.

Sweet Talk
Recently hazel starts to say something like " Mom, I love you. You are so beautiful so cute!".
Actually she never shows her affection before. Maybe because I am always with her talking care of her.
Since she goes to the kindergarden, she would tells me she miss me.
Even it is just a minute. Better than nothing.

Dear Parents,
I hope that you enjoyed the long weekend! We’ve been having another good week in class and the students are getting ready for the speech contest on Friday. The students are doing well with their writing and I’m very pleased to say that every student has improved a lot in the past few months. On Wednesday, the class had a fun time making spring rolls and eating them for lunch afterwards.
Hazel just keeps getting better and better at school every week! She can mostly read the phonics readers on her own and her writing has improved a lot in only a few weeks. She is also becoming more and more talkative with the teachers and her classmates as time passes. I’m really pleased with her level of progress.

Dear Parents,
The first eight contestants recited their Mother’s day speech last Friday and the last eight contestants presented theirs this Friday. Overall the students performed well. This week the students were tested for the assessments. I looked at their ability to read sight words, blend sounds, understand spatial concepts and make sentences. On Thursday, the students spent the morning getting their medical checks.
Hazel has really been making an impression in class! She is so well behaved that she actually serves as a great example for her classmates! Hazel works really hard at keeping up in class and in no time at all she is catching up to the other students and even surpassing them in some respects!

What we have covered:
Reader: Stop! (Review)
MPM: D3 Ordinal Numbers
Rhyme: Engine, Engine Number Nine
Phonics: The Ride in the Van
Song: The Mulberry Bush
Dear Parents,
We’ve had yet another enjoyable week in class! On Wednesday, we made pudding for cooking class. After cooking class, we went to play at the park because the weather was so beautiful! The students have been keeping up the effort at school. They can now finish both their writing work and their MPM work very quickly. I’m pleased with the rate at which they are progressing!
Hazel has been doing well with everything at school. The only area where she is still slightly behind is with writing. She is getting better at writing her letters in the proper manner, but she still has some trouble with holding her pencil and Staying inside the lines. They could be because she has not had as much writing practice as her classmates in the past. Also, her fine motor skills may still need a little time to fully develop.
Sympathy 4/19

As hazel listens the song "Rock-a-Bye Baby" and looks at the book.
Suddenly she bursts out crying when she read the page which cradle falls and balloons fly away.
I keeps on hearing her saying with tears " what should they do! no balloons and it falls down~".
Hazel is just not stop worrying those things.
There is nothing i can do but seeing her crying.
